The Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) is pleased to announce that Austin Bonnema was elected to its board of directors. Austin is the vice president of sales for Vermeer Mountain West. TCIA is a trade association of 2,000 tree care firms and affiliate companies established in 1938.
Austin has been in the tree care business for more than ten years. He has a passion for helping grow the industry and supporting businesses to expand and develop their safety culture, operational efficiency, profitability, and professionalism. “I am grateful to be elected to represent the corporate members within the TCIA community. The opportunity to work on TCIA’s board to continue to advance tree care businesses is extremely exciting!” said Austin.
Austin has served on TCIA’s governance Task Force. In addition, he has actively supported the Saluting Branches initiative, whose mission is to honor American servicemen and women by organizing volunteer tree and landscape care for the property dedicated to veterans.
