The Service Manager is accountable for the lifecycle experience related to all service, warranty, and telematics.   • Collaborate with Sales team and Supervisors on equipment request forms, equipment transfers, trade-in inspections and prompt repair, and trucking loads between branches.

  • Ensure that communication between customer, technician, parts and sales are effective.
  • Coordinate short and long-term service parts needs to ensure seamless and timely delivery of services.

Technical Support:

  • Balance the level of tech support provided with customer need and capability while sustaining and promoting VSW services and offerings. Keeping safety and liability at the forefront.
  • Recognize and promote recommended maintenance and upsell opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Service Admin’s on machine diagnosis and needed repairs. Assist and review estimates and quotes.
  • Act as initial point of contact for customer dispute or resolution.

Training:

  • Oversee the on-boarding process with new service and support other personnel as needed.

The Parts Specialist will be responsible for handling customer accounts, part orders, and our parts sales and inventory systems. This individual will thrive in a team environment and have the skills necessary to communicate effectively with vendors, customers, technicians, and managers.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:OVERVIEW:

– Perform customer service through research, part ordering, issuing quotes, and resolving customer concerns using established procedures.

– Work with customers, technicians, vendors, representatives, and manufacturers to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of part orders.

– Work with our customers and technicians in-person, via email, text, and phone to place accurate and timely orders.

– Maintains parts inventory by verifying physical counts to maintain inventory integrity and accuracy.

– Receives and stocks items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in designated bins and on shelves.

– Create and follow up on purchase orders, new customer accounts, new part numbers, and invoice sales orders

– Respond to customer requests and questions regarding parts and account information. Analyze and rectify customer concerns using established procedures

– Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Vermeer equipment/parts line-up and competitive products.

– Represent Vermeer Southwest at factory, industry and company events including meetings and trainings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·Mechanical and heavy equipment experience preferred.
